What Is a Wife?

A wife has to be a mother, a friend, a baby, a girlfriend, a woman, a lady, a mistress, a dancer, a model, a nun, a chef, a partner at work, a masseuse...

To Janice:

A wife is someone more special than words.

She's love mixed with friendship, and marriage bonded with hope, thanks, and joy.

A wife is beauty and lasting togetherness, and there is no one more precious in the world.

A wife is one who inspires some of the most special moments two people have ever shared.

A wife is a treasured perspective on the past, a reassuring part of the present,

and a million wishes for all the days that lie ahead.

A wife is a reminder of the blessings that come from closeness. Sharing everything. Disclosing dreams. Learning about life together.

She's a hand within your hand. She's so often the only one who understands.

A wife is understanding and trust enfolded with love.

She is a helper and a guide, and she is a feeling, deep inside,

that makes you realize, each and every day of your life ...

that there is no one who could ever be loved in the way a husband... loves his wife.

With Love From Your Husband....

I am so lucky to be married to you. You are such a steady, strong, and fulfilling part of my life.

You never cease to amaze me with the constancy of your giving, the understanding of your heart, and the reassurance of your smile.

And I thought it would be nice to let you know that my special feelings for you are going to last forever. I'll always be more thankful than words can say that you and I and all the days ahead are going to be together....

"Therefore a man shall... be joined to his wife, and they shall become one... " Genesis 2:24

May the Lord's love be with you....

HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOUR MARRIAGE:

--START EVERY DAY WITH A KISS - Begin your day with love.

--ALWAYS WEAR YOUR WEDDING RING - It is a visual reminder of your commitment.

--GO ON A DATE WITH YOUR MATE ONCE A WEEK - Dedicate some time just for the two of you even if you just go out for coffee.

--ACCEPT EACH OTHERS DIFFERENCES - Remember when you thought your spouses "idiosyncrasies" were so cute and adorable? Chances of changing them now are slim, so decide to live with them.

--BE POLITE - Always practice your best manners at home. Are you more polite to co-workers or strangers than to the one you love?

--BE GENTLE AND KIND - Choose to be kind to the one you love and who loves you. Eliminate from your home all harsh and unkind words and actions.

--GIVE GIFTS - From time to time give a little gift to say "I love you," like a card, a flower, a favorite candy bar.

--SMILE - Wear a happy face and decide to be happy. Remember those glances you used to give each other and how meaningful they were.

--TOUCH - Show your love and affection with a pat on the back or a soft caress of the cheek.

--TALK ABOUT DREAMS - Forget about busy schedules and share and talk about your ideas and dreams - no matter how crazy they may seem!

--GIVE BACK RUBS - Take turns giving each other a soothing rub to help you relax after a busy day.

--LAUGH TOGETHER - Share a good laugh everyday. Life is incomplete without laughter.

--DO SOMETHING FOR YOUR SPOUSE BEFORE BEING ASKED - Anticipate your mate's needs and jump right in to help. Put his or her needs before your own comfort.

--LISTEN - Be a good and active listener. Eliminate any distractions (TV, newspaper, etc.) and give your full attention. Don't worry about fixing a problem, just listen, really listen!.

--BE AN ENCOURAGER - Show your love and support by encouraging your spouse to look, feel and do the best they can. Be generous with your praise for success and accomplishments.

--CALL YOUR SPOUSE OFTEN - Stop and check in with each other throughout the day just to say "Hi" or "I love you."

--HOLD HANDS - Whether you're watching TV or taking a walk together, stay "connected" by holding hands. --LOOK YOUR BEST - The socks and T-shirts or long flannel granny gowns are so comfy, but a little change would be a great idea!

--APOLOGIZE - It doesn't matter who's right, and nobody should be keeping score. Saying I'm sorry and forgive me is like saying "I love you."

--ASK YOUR SPOUSE "WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE YOUR HAPPIER?" You may be surprised at the answer and how simple it is to please your mate.

--REMINISCE ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE TIMES TOGETHER - Remember and talk about all the special times you shared and think and talk about good times to come.

--PRAY FOR YOUR SPOUSE EVERYDAY - Start your day with prayer for your spouse, your marriage and your family.

--WATCH A SUNSET TOGETHER - Or watch a sunrise, or the clouds, or the moon or the stars! Find the beauty in life and share and enjoy it together.

--END EACH DAY WITH A HUG AND KISS - Just as you decided to begin each day with a hug, decide to end it with love, too. I pray that all of us will be willing to learn more ways to express our love to our spouses the whole year. I also encourage you to have a quiet time and a daily Bible devotional together in addition to your daily prayer for each other. There is nothing else like the Word of God it to strengthen your bonds of marriage and your walk together with the Lord. Try it an see!

A Smart bitch:

When I stand up for myself and my beliefs, they call me a bitch.

When I stand up for those I love, they call me a bitch.

When I speak my mind, think my own thoughts or do things my own way, they call me a bitch.

Being a bitch means I won't compromise what's in my heart. It means I live my life my way but looking up for for the love ones. It means I won't allow anyone to step on me.

When I refuse to tolerate injustice and speak up against it, I am defined as a bitch.

The same thing happens when I take time for myself instead of being everyone's maid, or when I act a little selfish. I am proud to be a bitch! I need my time & space too.

It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am and won't become anyone else's idea of what they think I "should" be. I am outspoken, opinionated and determined.

I want what I want in specific areas and there is nothing wrong with that! So try to stomp on me, try to douse my inner flame, try to squash every ounce of beauty I hold within me. You won't succeed. And if that makes me a smart bitch, so be it. I embrace the title and am proud to bear it.

There is two kinds of "bitch" the one who knows what she is doing & bitches with protection & love , & the one who's just a dumb bitch, who bitches just to bother everyone with her insecurities.
